Birds from zoos and the wild.
Cassowary at a zoo in Queensland.
They have long eyelashes.
Emu. Nice hairstyle!

Crimson rosella. They’re more shy than rainbow lorikeets.
Sulphur crested cockatoo.
Feed them at your peril; they have been known to destroy wooden furniture and window frames!
Gang gang cockatoo. They make a very gentle sound.
Corella. I like the noise they make too.
Gallah.
King parrot.
Not sure what kind of parrot this is, but I like the colours.

Kookaburra. They steal food sometimes, like sausages from a barbecue.
Bower bird in the Blue Mountains. They have amazing eyes.

Lyre birds imitate the calls of other birds, and other sounds too. Here are some recordings from Flaggy Creek (0:44) and Heaton’s Lookout (11:25):

They’s usually shy in the wild though, so it can be hard to get a clear photo.
