Jedi chimp at Monarto Zoo, Adelaide. It was a cold windy day and he wouldn’t let the other chimp take his blanket!

Giant panda at Adelaide Zoo.

Sun bear with a coconut. Very long claws!
Large Animals
Elephant. They have pretty long eyelashes.
They like having mud baths.

Baby elephant at Western Plains Zoo, Dubbo. It liked chasing the birds around (then went and hid behind its mum).

Some kangaroos resting.
Wallabies are smaller and have a more triangular face than kangaroos.

Quokkas are relatives of kangaroos and wallabies. There are lots of them on Rottnest Island near Perth. These were at Featherdale Wildlife park.
It didn’t want to let go!

A friendly wombat at Hunter Valley Zoo. It followed me around.

Baby koalas hang on tight (Wildlife HQ).
Tasmanian devil. Their ears are usually torn from fights with each other, but these ones look OK.
I love quolls. This one at Daintree Wild Zoo followed my every move; it either wanted to make friends or eat me.

Butterflies

Tree frog. Nice shade of green!

Dromedary (one humped) camel.
Bactrian (two humped) camel.
